Lakers added a third coach…

London Lakers have added a third bench coach to assist with the team this year. Adam Zehr will be behind the bench with fellow rookie coach Brandon LaBelle, and Head Coach / GM Jeff Zehr.

Adam brings his years of playing AAA minor hockey experience with the likes of NHL young studs Aaron Ekblad, Jared McCann and up and coming Jakob Middleton. As well as experience at Jr B Stratford Cullitons and St Marys Lincoln’s and Jr C with Mitchell Hawks and New Hamburg Firebirds. Adam also attended a Owen Sound Attack OHL Camp.

Coach/GM says “ Adam has always been a Leader, on and off the ice. Very well spoken, motivated , accountable and has always been a team first guy.”
Adam Zehr told us that he is looking forward to helping these kids adjust to Jr hockey and develop their skills. “ Being able to learn the game, from the other side of the bench is going to be a rewarding challenge this year, I’m extremely privileged to have the resources available in a great program to not only help these kids excel and achieve their goals, but also for myself and other staff.”

Lakers have a couple of weeks to go before we hit the ice for tryout camp skates and the start to our season, roster spots are still available in our program for some motivated, dedicated 1997-2002’s!
