Lakers Look To Sink The Whalers

The Lakers have been hot on the offence lately, with 18 goals in the last three games. Last night was a nail biter for the Lakers, London kept pace with the Predators in a fast paced game but sunk 9-6. Eisai Arai had himself a night posting 3 goals and 5 points, giving him 59 points this season in just 20 games. Big numbers also came from Jorell Crisostomo, who put up a goal and 2 assists. Thomas Either had a solid game in the back-line of the Lakers with 35 saves. The Lakers are looking stronger on the special teams with their penalty kill is now up to 80% on the season.

The Niagara Whalers come into London on a three-game winning streak. Key players to watch in tonight’s game are: David Christopher, who has posted 44 points this season. David also finds himself at number 14 in the GMHL power rankings. Zach Main, he has been key for the Whalers so far this year with 39 points. Brandon Lindberg, number 2 in the GMHL power rankings has 38 points on the campaign with 15 goals and 23 assists. Whalers also have strong last line of defense with Will Harvey in the pipes. Will has 7 wins on the season as well as an 0.87 save percentage, and 4.54 goals against average.
